Overactive Bladder (OAB) affecting your life?

Overactive Bladder (OAB) affects millions of women of all ages and can impact nearly every aspect of daily life - from work performance to family life to social interactions. OAB symptoms can vary from person to person but typically include:
Right now, doctors at select centers in the US are conducting a clinical study that may be able to help. The study is for the RENOVA iStim™ System - an investigational, home-use device designed to reduce urinary urge leakage and improve OAB symptoms.
The Renova iStim™ System
When the bladder system is working properly, nerves that control the bladder sense that the bladder is getting full, telling you it's time to urinate. However, in people with OAB, these bladder nerves are overactive, telling you it's time to urinate before your bladder is full. Your bladder muscle follows by contracting too early, causing the bladder to empty before it should.
The RENOVA iStim System™ is an investigational device designed to reduce urinary urge leakage and improve OAB symptoms. The RENOVA iStim™ uses a miniature implant that is placed above the ankle, near the tibial nerve - through an outpatient procedure. The tibial nerve communicates with nerves in the lower back that control bladder function. The RENOVA iStim™ System delivers adjustable electrical stimulation to the tibial nerve to help calm the bladder. Treatment sessions are conducted by you - in the privacy and comfort of your own home.
The RENOVA iStim™ System is currently being offered at select centers in the US through the OASIS Clinical Study. If you qualify and choose to join the study, you will receive the RENOVA iStim™ System and all study-related care at no cost.
